1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the Sensible Camera website and describe use of the app provided by VioletStack Pvt Ltd. Contact hello@violetstack.com with questions. If you do not agree to the applicable terms, do not use the service.

When the app becomes available through the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless the listing supplies a different license. Apple’s applicable store and service terms also apply. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights.

2. Your recordings, your responsibility

You retain rights you hold in your captures. You are responsible for having permission to record, save, and share content, and for complying with laws, venue rules, and other people’s rights. Face effects are not permission to film someone or a way to bypass a request not to be recorded.

Do not use the app or website to harass, stalk, exploit, deceive, infringe rights, or create or distribute unlawful content. Do not suggest that a decorative character or accent accurately describes someone’s identity, emotion, or conduct.

3. Understand the limits

Detection can miss faces, especially in poor light, motion, crowds, or occlusion. Position-based association may lose or swap a subject. Faces are only one source of identifying information: voices, clothing, locations, and surroundings can still identify people. Review captures before sharing; no effect guarantees anonymity or safety.

Crowd stories is a decorative effect, not emotion detection. Website illustrations explain the concept and are not evidence of detection accuracy. The current app uses portrait 1080p capture and digital zoom; it does not offer every feature of Apple’s Camera app.

4. Your device and third-party services

You control permissions, sharing destinations, saved files, and backups. Maintain your own copies of important captures; temporary app files can be removed by iOS. Device capability, available storage, temperature, permissions, and system interruptions can affect capture.

Third-party destinations, Apple services, and external websites have their own terms. We do not control their availability or data practices. Links are for convenience and do not imply endorsement.

5. Our materials

Sensible Camera branding, site artwork, interface materials, and software are owned by VioletStack or their respective licensors. Do not copy or use our branding to imply an affiliation that does not exist. These terms do not claim ownership of your recordings.

6. Availability and liability

We aim to make the app useful and reliable, but do not promise uninterrupted operation, perfect detection, or a particular result. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app and website are provided as available without additional warranties, and we are not responsible for losses caused by misuse or reliance on face effects as a guarantee of anonymity.

Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or restricts rights or remedies you have under applicable consumer law.

7. Updates and contact

We may improve or change the app and website and update these terms as needed. We will publish an updated date and provide notice where required. For support or concerns, contact hello@violetstack.com.
